We are sad to announce that on August 10, 2024, at the age of 76, David Burns Bannister of Bradenton, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though David Burns may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David Burns touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tilton Burns and Nancy Lou Gentry Bannister. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Day Bannister; his children, Nancy Day Bannister Jenkins and Mark Burns Bannister (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Christopher, Holly Jenkins and Audrey Bannister.
However, for those wishing to honor his life with a memorial donation, the family suggests donations to the Paris Animal Welfare Society, 6 Legion Road, Paris, Kentucky 40361, the First Christian Church, 911 High Street also in Paris, or a charity of one's choice.
