He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde S. Cox and Mary Cox (Roth); and his children, Jerry Cox, Jeff Cox, Joseph Cox and Jan Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Cox of Bradenton, Florida; and his son Jon Cox of Auburn, Indiana. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
