He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Baran and Chester Baran; and his former wife Shirley. He is survived by: his wife Elena; his children, Pamela J. Baran of Sarasota, Kimberly J. Thomas of Naples, Mark R. Baran of Alexandria and Gregg A. Baran of Sarasota; his stepdaughter Kristina Zvaritch; and his grandchildren, Tyler, McLean, Laura, Christopher, Matthew and John Armer.
