He was predeceased by: his parents, Jobie Workman and Elva Workman (Morey); his siblings, Willard, Derwin (Sharon Workman) and Shirely Stoneman; his daughter Debbie Flanders; and his grandson Corey Hillard.
He is survived by: his wife Iona (Masengale); and his children, Dave Byrd (Teri) of Florida, Sabrina Brzys (Dan) of Michigan, Blaine Workman (Beth) of Colorado, Kathy Soubliere (Rick) of Rhode Island, Michelle Hillard (Joe) of Michigan and April Bonnell (Don) of Michigan.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service (375 W Dickman Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49037). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
