It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Swinson (Bradenton, Florida), who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Alfred farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Alfred is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his significant other Linda Jean Harris; his daughters, Kimberly J. Barnes of Willis and Lori A. Barr of Parrish; his grandsons, Ryan M. Baldwin, Joshua G. Baldwin and Benjamin B. Barr; and his great grandchildren, Grayson and Avery Baldwin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Samoset First Baptist Church (3200 15th St E, Bradenton, FL 34208). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Fortner Cemetery.
