He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Rinella and Kathryn Rinella; his children, Richard "Rich" Anthony Rinella Jr. (Ayla) and Anne "Annie" Albers Rinella; his brother-in-law George Douse; his niece Kathryn Rinella; and his nephew Bernie Rinella.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Albers Rinella; his daughter Annie Taube (Chris); his grandchildren, Alex, Brady Taube, Noah and Luca Rinella; his brother Bernie Rinella (Gloria); his sister-in-law Dorothy Douse; and his nieces, Heather Holland (Mark), Stephanie Hyman (Terry) and Melissa Cole (Cameron).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Western Golf Association Evans Scholars Foundation.
