He is survived by: his wife Nora; his children, Eric Shapiro (Stacey), Adrienne Vogel (David) and Jocelyn Bluth (Steven); his grandchildren, Morgan Vogel, Ryan Vogel, Nicole Bluth, Stefanie Bluth, Benjamin Shapiro and Zoe Shapiro; and his brother Frederick Shapiro.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beth Israel Boynton Beach Chapel (11115 Jog Rd, Boynton Beach, FL 33437). A shiva was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Shapiro Residence (6797 Hillsdale Point, Boynton Beach, FL 33437). An entombment was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Eternal Light Memorial Gardens (11520 FL-7, Boynton Beach, FL 33473).
