He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bunni Applebaum; his children, Simon Applebaum, Gary Applebaum (Janet) and Stefanie Ruben (David); his parents, Simon Applebaum and Minnie Applebaum; his sister Ethel Robbins; his brother-in-law Harold Robbins; his grandchildren, Mallory Sudberg (Mike), Taryn Cain (Ernest), Melissa (Ted), Sandler, Corey Ruben (Avery) and Noah Ruben (Rebecca Wieser); and his nieces, Karyl Stile (Joseph) and Alisa Robbins (Jean).
A memorial service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Beth Israel Funeral Home (5508 W Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33484).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all donations be made to the North Shore Rotary Club of Staten Island.
