He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Mason and Bessie Mae Mason; his siblings, Beatrice and Richard "Ike"; his daughter Nicole Mason (Daughter-Rickelya Mason); and his great-nephew Ronald Walker II.
He is survived by: his sister Ida Mae; his wife Peggy Mason; his child Stacey Simmons (Michael Simmons); his grandchildren, Olivia Baird (Patrick Baird), Nigel Simmons and Miles Simmons; his great grandchildren, Aubrey Richardson, Oliver Baird, Isabella Baird and Alexander Baird; his brother Larry Mason (Algy Mason); his nieces, Sherry Walker, Hope Mason and Anitra Mason; his great-nephews, David Mason and Roman Walker; his father-in-law William H. Barton; and his godchildren, Jaevery McFadden, Serena Boggs and Joshua Boggs. He is also survived by extended family, neighborhood godchildren and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Shuler's Memorial Chapel (5301 N Australian Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33407).
