She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Thompson and Ophelia Thompson; her siblings, Vernon Jr., Winston, Locksley, John, Betty, Olive and Evelyn; and her spouse Stafford Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Brock (Monica) and Stephen (Tirrell); and her grandchildren, Paige and Dylan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home & Crematory (599 NE 15th Ave, Boynton Beach, FL 33435). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Episcopal Church (3300 S Seacrest Blvd, Boynton Beach, FL 33435). A burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Palm Beach Memorial Park (3691 N Seacrest Blvd, Lantana, FL 33462).
