He was predeceased by: his parents, Walker D. Beckham and Ruby W. Chambers Beckham; his wife Violet Romesburg Beckham of Virginia; and his siblings, Eugene "Gene" Beckham, Betty Long and Fern McClure.

He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Furrow (William) of Bowling Green, FL. and Robert H. Jordan of Missouri; and his grandchildren, Robert Jordan (Lorrie), Kathy Jordan, Karen Shaffer (Les) and Mattie Furrow. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and numerous "favorite" nieces and nephews.
