He is survived by: his wife Loretta Smith of Bowling Green; his son Brent Smith; his stepdaughters, Christy Cheshire and Teresa Cunningham; and his siblings, Melissa Stanford and Dr. Wilson Smith. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
