He was predeceased by: his parents, Hasco "Pop" Brummett and Eula Brummett; and his wife Rita Brummett. He is survived by: his children, Duane, Joy Brummett of Wauchula, FL, Gene, Carola Brummett of Crewsville, FL, Deanne and David Shanklin of Sebring, FL.; and his siblings, Alan Brummett of Bowling Green, FL. and Patricia Thornhill of Ft. Pierce, FL.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
