He was predeceased by: his father James LeeAnder Staton (Junior); his sister Juanita Kay Staton; and his grandparents, Troy Staton, Pearl Staton, Edna Staton, Robert and Eva Hill.
He is survived by: his mother Barbara Staton; his children, Brandy Selph (Robert) and Christopher Miller; his siblings, Cindi Smith (Justin) and Dale Staton; his grandchildren, Ryan Selph, Ayden Selph, Jayce Selph and Myles Selph; and his close friend Jerris West.
