He is survived by: his wife Kuniko Washio; his mother-in-law Yasuko Washio; his sister-in-law Michiko Washio; his children, Pat Painter (Chuck), Robyn Schoch (Palmer), Chris Losey (Jerry), Jim, Joanne and Samantha Truex (Tad); his daughter-in-law Kelly Scollard; and his grandchildren, Mary Bunch (Corey), Katy McGuffey (Brian), Becky Hall (Aron), Billy Schoch, Meg Pierce (Phil), Chad Painter (Ashley), Nick Scollard, Zach Scollard, Cam Scollard, James Scollard (Aislinn), Nathan Scollard, Alex Scollard, Teddy Truex and Abby Truex. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
