She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert McClure and Doris Bledsoe McClure; her husband Gene W. Pirtle Sr.; her sons, Gene W. Pirtle Jr. and Jerry Joe Pirtle; her siblings, Frances Waldroup, Ward McClure and Peggy Brown; her niece Connie Waite; and her great-niece Lara Ann Lewis.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandy Pirtle (Pete Mason) of Bonita Springs, FL; her grandchildren, Wendie Jo Pirtle of Salem, MA, Larry Joe Pirtle (Robin) of Rockville, IN, Brian Gene Pirtle of Beaufort, SC and Suzanna Inman (Jared) of Rosedale, IN; and her great grandchildren, Riley Stohler, Jayleigh Inman, Givenchy Pirtle and Jurnee Pirtle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
