She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Buemi, and Patricia Buemi, Jr. (Campbell). She is survived by: her husband Daniel W. Thompson; her daughters, Lindsey Ream (Justin) of Bonita Springs, FL, Sara Walters (Michael) of Winter Garden, FL and Olivia Detri (Stephen) of Bonita Springs, FL; her grandchildren, Carter Walters, Ellie Walters and Amelia Detri; and her siblings, Tony Buemi (Jamie), Chris Buemi, Julie Buemi, Mark Buemi (Carol), Angel Hitt (Monty), Bill Buemi (Suzanne), Paul Buemi (Shawndra) and Tricia Buemi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Contributions to the American Cancer Society, and directed towards Breast Cancer Research in her name, is greatly appreciated by all the family members.
