She was predeceased by: her parent Lee Messick. She is survived by: her mother Mary Messick; her children, David J. Melvin (Lauren Jenks) and Ava; her grandson Drake A. Melvin of Bonita Springs, FL; her nephew Justin Messick (Melissa Eagle); and her great-niece Kelsey Messick. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends she loved.
