She was predeceased by: her husband Domenico Cortese; and her siblings, Nicoletta Cattaneo, Giacomo Gentile, Vincenzo Gentile and Victor Gentile.

She is survived by: her siblings, Teresa Boiano, Elizabeth Malcolm and Sergio Gentile. She is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews, 31 great-nieces and nephews, and 23 great-great-nieces and nephews.
