He is survived by: his wife Sandra Varnum of Bonita Springs, FL; his daughters, Deborah Tong of Williamstown, MA, Lisa Staples of Sterling, MA, Amy Jacobson of Newton, MA and Betsey Varnum of Belmont, MA; his stepdaughter Annalisa Olson Moeller of Jasper, IN; and his brother Herbert Varnum of Worcester, MA. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
