He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mongiardo and Mariantonia Mongiardo; and his brother Anthony. He is survived by: his wife Victoria Ventresca; his children, Gary (Kristy), Michael, Mark (Gina), Donna, Denise and Debra Hamilton (Clay); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Justin, Giavanna, Marco, Gianni and Sophia; his great grandchildren, Enzo Vincent and Luna Jade; his brother Dante (Paulette); and his sister-in-law Nina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to support pulmonary fibrosis research at NYU Langone Health.
