She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Shadle and Gertrude Shadle; her husband Alfred L. Yingst; her son Hayden; her daughter-in-law Susan Yingst; and her sisters, Eleanor Kreiner and Virginia Shutt.

She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Whitman (Douglas); and her grandchildren, Alicia Sheckard (Michael) and Justin Whitman.
