She was predeceased by: her parents, William Holzapfel and Erma Holzapfel; and her brother Jack. She is survived by: her daughter Joan; her husband Joe; her daughters, Laura (Mike Gibbons), Jackie (Don Story) and Debi (Bill Roth); her grandchildren, Isaac, Alia, Elliott Roth and Joey Story; and her stepgrandchildren, Saranac Harris and Gretchen Pangilinan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's association.
