He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry M. Newman and Sylvianna Newman (Sklar); his son James Strother; and his brother Larry Newman. He is survived by: his wife Roxanne R. Newman; his stepdaughter Kristen Lucassen; his grandchildren, Justine Strother and Joseph Strother; and his great grandchild Jenessa Anderson.
