He was predeceased by: his parents, August Rehse and Esther Rehse. He is survived by: his wife Lynda; his sons, David (Marcy) and Robert (Melinda); his grandchildren, Emma, Katelyn, Luken and Sayer; and his cousin Marilyn Belasco (Dave) of Estero, FL..
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home (28300 S Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs, FL 34134). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (5110 Franklin Pike, Nashville, TN 37220).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lynda's American Heart Association Beach Ride in Gordon's honor.
