He is survived by: his wife Renate "Renee" Waechter Rake; his children, Lisa Cobb (Rick) of Sellersburg, IN, Kim Moehring (Mark) of Georgetown, TX, Gabriela Thumm (Hartmut) of Stuttgart, Germany and Kenneth Hickman (Karen) of Shelbyville, KY.; his grandchildren, Brandy, MacKenzie, Allie, Adam, Nicole and Janine; his siblings, Juanita Rake Beach (Bill) of Floyds Knobs, IN and Melvin "Corky" Rake (Sharon) of Georgetown, IN; and his pet Rocky. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
