We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2021, at the age of 85, Gholam Malek M. D. of Bonita Springs, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Molly Thacker; his children, Kayvan Malek and Susanne Fagan (Anthony); his grandchildren, Olivia, Benjamin Malek, Molly and Lucy Fagan; and his brother Hooshang Malek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“Dear Dr Malek’s family, I’m sorry for your loss. I met Dr Malek as a high school student working at the Jackson Clinic on Saturday mornings as receptionist for the Urology Department. It was in part because of Dr Malek’s kind words of support for me to administration that propelled my career at the clinic. I worked with Dr Malek over the years as an administrator and always set my sites on the respect and support from him as my goal. I will always be grateful to have known him. Barb Boyle”
