It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Raab Schachter of Bonita Springs, Florida, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. As George Raab departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though George Raab may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy George Raab leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Schachter and Sylvan Schachter (Woody); his sister Judy Schachter; and his nephew Jesse Murphy. He is survived by: his siblings, Amelia Schachter of Firestone, CO, Ben Schachter (Paula) of Tucson, AZ and Josh Schachter (Trina Eggert) of Sarasota, FL; and his nephew Anthony Mendoza.
