The memory of Elizabeth A. Counsell (Bonita Springs, Florida), who passed away on March 31, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elizabeth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Short and Bess Short (Thayer). She is survived by: her children, Steve Counsell (Carol), Ron Counsell (Shelly) and Cathy Martin (Mike); her niece Stephanie Allin (Maurice); and her nephew David Counsell. She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity that provides food and/or shelter to those in need or the American Cancer Society.
