He was predeceased by: his parents, Theron L. Sams and Margaret Sams (Wiard); and his brother Duane L. Sams. He is survived by: his daughters, Tabatha Swihart of Fort Myers, FL. and Tiffany Farrington (Brian) of Fort Myers, FL.; his grandchildren, Grace, Connor, Emory, Avory and Tripp; and his sisters, Carol Murillo of Dania, FL., Judy Steinbarger (Douglas) of Brandon, FL. and Rebecca Shelly (Steven) of Serena, IL..
