He was predeceased by: his parents, Rinaldo Mattei and Dina Mattei (Fiorani); and his wife Clementine Mattei. He is survived by: his children, Donna Mattei D'Addario (Adam) of Cherry Hill, NJ, Diana Mattei Richardson (Chris) of New Haven, IN, Daniel Mattei (Tammy Williams) of Tampa, FL, Anthony Mattei (Karol) of Estero, FL, Anita Mattei (late Jason Gruner) of Durham, NC, Andrea DeRosa (Jimmy) of New Castle, DE, Gary Lanette (Jill Pisano) of Phoenixville, PA and Edward Lanette (April) of New Castle, DE.; his grandchildren, Douglas Welty (Ashley), Ava Mattei, Briana Petalino (Nicholas), Daniel Welty (Kacie), Mattei Richardson, Joseph Mattei Gruner and Adriana Mattei Gruner; and his siblings, Ruth DiGiampietro (late Armando) of Blackwood, NJ, Reynold Mattei (Domenica) of Blackwood, NJ and Donald Mattei of Lake Worth, FL.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
