She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Szalkoski and Genevieve Szalkoski (Zylke); and her son Mark Gabriel. She is survived by: her husband James F. Gabriel; her daughter Gayle Driscoll (Timothy) of Naples, FL; her sister Elaine Kustush of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Kelle Morris (Andrew) and Chad Driscoll (Kirsten); and her great grandchildren, Gus and Magnolia Morris.
