He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Clark French and Viola Covington French; his wife Carol French; and his son Derrick Paul French. He is survived by: his daughter Penny R. Stratton of Orlando, FL; and his sister Alice Fay Gorday. He is also survived by three grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
