She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Monroe Thompson and Bessie Shipes Thompson; her husband Eugene Brown; her siblings, Valton Thompson, Louise Eldridge and Lois Bass; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Taylor and Doyle Smothers.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Brown (Tammy) of Bonifay, FL, Donald Brown (Amanda) of Panama City, FL, Anna Harris of Bonifay, FL and Douglas Brown (Lynn) of Tallahassee, FL; and her siblings, Buddy Thompson (Dianne), Doyle Thompson (Ann), Floyd Thompson, Norma Smothers and Hazel Taylor. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
