She was predeceased by: her father Edward Kirkland; her children, Ruth Ann Stanton Moore and David Stanton; and her sisters, Frances Miller and Betty Dean.
She is survived by: her daughter Ruby Moon of Bonifay, FL; her sister Elizabeth Bess of Chipley, FL; and her grandchildren, Kathy Moon, Jeremy Moon, Angela Siniard, Tara Stanton Martin and Michael Stanton. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
