She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Brett and Lila Hinson Brett; her husband Donald'Don'Jackson Sallas; and her sisters, Wynell Whitehead, Yvonne Evans and Ann Lipford.
She is survived by: her sons, Frank Sallas (Jennifer), James'Jim'Sallas (Brenda) and Greg Sallas (Beverly); her grandchildren, Alex Sallas, Breanna Booker (Bradly), Eli Sallas, Tyler Sallas, Ian Sallas (Kylie), Kylee Meachem, Anna Meachem and Jylian Sallas; her great grandchildren, Kai and Huxley; her sister Mary Brett; and her caregiver Courtney Wynn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
