She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Wilson and Melonee Marsh Brown; her husband Elton French; and her brothers, Fred Brown and Wilson Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Brown of Bonifay, Marsha Butler of Westville, Linda Thames of Bonifay, FL, Brenda Thames of Bonifay, FL and Greg Thames of Bonifay, FL; her grandchildren, Samantha Hendrix (Stacey), Kristy Brown, Sabrina Lewis (Chris), Robert Vermillion, Todd Vermillion (Samantha), Zachary Burgess, Dalton Thames, Megan Burnham, Heather Williford (Michael), Halley Burnham and Ethan Burnham; her siblings, Lawrence Brown of Bonifay, Herbert Brown (Roxanne) of Bonifay and Vivian Wike (Kenneth) of Geneva; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Brown of Geneva and Diane Brown of Bonifay. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM, on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home (2744 W Magnolia Ave, Samson, AL 36477). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
