With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Russell Welch of Bonifay, Florida, born in Salem, New Jersey, who passed away on October 14, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Welch and Ellen Russell Welch; and his son Martin Welch. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Welch; his children, Russell Welch, William Welch (Kelly), Joseph Figga (Gina), James Figga (Krista), Nicole O'Brien (Mike) and Matthew Brooks (Dody); and his siblings, Martin Welch and Ellen Whipkey (Steven). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
