She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Goff Jerkins and Marguerite Miller Jerkins. She is survived by: her husband Philip Herndon; her daughter Rachel Hagans Darling (Chris); and her grandsons, Kye Maty of Bonifay and Roland Jackson of Bonifay.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa Florida.
