He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Hartin and Mildred Loyce Register Hartin. He is survived by: his wife Carol Hartin; his daughter Susan Ervin; his grandchildren, Christine Pettis, Todd McNickle, Michael Sheehan, Johnnie Sheehan and Eddie Sheehan; and his great grandchildren, Matthew Hartin, Cleo Pettis and Nora Pettis.
