It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara D Yon of Bonifay, Florida, who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Tolbert and Lena Tolbert; her son Timothy Jeroma Calhoun; and her siblings, Buck, Billy and Lucille.
She is survived by: her children, Gidget M. Oakley (Ralph Nichols) of Tallahassee, Florida and James Henry Calhoun of Wewahitchka, Florida; her sisters, Edna Hoke (Bob) of Defuniak Springs, Gertrude Shepherd of Defuniak Springs and Bernice Whitfield of Wewahitchka, Florida; her sister-in-law Edith Tolbert of Kentucky; her granddaughters, Amanda of Jessica, JJ and Brandy; and her great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Bladen, Krissy, Justin, Terrance, Austin and William.
