He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Cook and Sarah Buff Cook; his wife Lucy Cook; and his siblings, Alton, Jesse of Gene, CM, Juanita and Mozelle.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Cook (Celena) of Bonifay, FL, Sharon Hoffman (Scott) of Port St and Rhonda Cook Henderson (Jeff) of Ringgold, GA; his grandchildren, Dara Gastley, Travis Cook, Madison Roberts, Austin Medley, Mark Hodge, Rachael West, Katie Hoffman and Sara Ruchte; and his sister Polly Samson of Henderson, TN. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
