She was predeceased by: her parents, Otho B. Smith and Lois Hinson Smith; her husband Harold "Colonel" Berry; and her siblings, Myrtle Hendrix, June Smith, Mary Nell Smith, Thelma Moss, O. B. Smith, Jr., Angus Smith and David Smith.

She is survived by: her daughters, Frances Hamm (Ronnie), Esto, Carolyn York (Larry) and Dothan; her grandson Jerome Woodham; and her siblings, Jerry Smith (Iris), Rev. Clyde Smith (Jeanette), Minnie Adkison, Bonnie Chitty (Larry) and Jane Hidle (Donnie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Masks are requested to be worn for graveside service and social distancing will be observed.
