It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vivian McCoy Owens (Boca Raton, Florida), born in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Earl S. Owens of Charlotte, NC; her parents, Harold Walter McCoy and Pauline Koons McCoy; and her sister Marilyn Simmons. She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Theise (Brian) and Elaine Bailey (Marc Kool); her siblings, Linda Procopio (Charlie), Judy Hefley (Colin) and Harold McCoy (Barbara); her grandchildren, Trent Kool (Sierra), Michael Theise (Christina) and Jacqueline Theise; and her friend Allen Osborne. She is also survived by nieces, a nephew and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Vivian requested donations to Planned Parenthood, The Humane Society, and the American Heart Association. Donations to the Alzheimer's Association would also be honored.
