He was predeceased by: his parents, George Baum and Gussie Baum; and his siblings, Seymour Baum (Vennie), Rita Ginsburg (Lewis), Phyllis Waldman (Sidney) and Shirley Tenzel (Richard).
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Baum (Doniger); his daughters, Vicki Baum Lynn (Robert) of Loudonville and Rachel Robin Baum (Roderick Driscoll) of Saratoga Springs; his granddaughters, Abby Lynn Ward (Erik) of Darien, Dr. Ariel Gussie Schwartz (Matthew Hochstein) of Chicago and Sydney Leah Schwartz (Chris Downes) of Saratoga Springs; and his great grandchild Will Lucca Ward.
Contributions in his memory can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) of Connecticut.
