He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harrison Kirkland and Marilyn Ruth Page; his sister Shelly Kirkland Brown; his aunts and uncles, Eileen, Robert Nykiel Sr., Edward and Irene Page; his cousin Thomas Page (Celia); his son Michael (Colleen); his grandchildren, William and Evelyn; his uncle Robert Page (Ann); and his cousins, Robert Nykiel Jr., Mary Lynn Nykiel, Richard Nykiel (Margaret), Edward Nykiel (Debra), Steven Page (Leslie), Brian Page (Pam), Betsy Meschke (Rodger), Christopher Page (Sheryl), Susan Ehehalt (Chris), Tom Race (Lynn), Mike Race (Marlin) and Dan Mathews.

He is survived by: his canine Sunny.
