He is survived by: his daughter Phyllis Diana of Boca Raton; his granddaughter Kathy McBrien (Mike); and his great grandchildren, Patrick and Katelyn McBrien.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas L. Nied Funeral Home (7441 Washington Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15218). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Maurice Church (2001 Ardmore Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15221).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Morningside VFW Post 3945, 1820 Morningside Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15206, indicate "Fish Rodeo".
