He was predeceased by: his daughter Nancy Dee. He is survived by: his wife Terry; his daughters, Kathryn Burns (Walter Burns), Jane Dee and Joanne Dee; his grandson Ryan Eagle (Michelle Eagle); and his great grandchild Shoshanna Eagle.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joe's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
