He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Elick, Sr. and Ruby J. Elick. He is survived by: his daughters, Jacquelyn Knudsen (Brian), Jaylene Tinerella (James), Jennifer Trindade (Caio) and Jessica Valenzuela (Eddie); the mother of his children Lisa Ulinder (David); his grandsons, Jayce Trindade, Gavin Knudsen, Bram Tinerella, Edward Valenzuela and Ronin Knudsen; his siblings, Joseph E. Elick, Jr. (Paula) and Kimberly K. Brinster (Richard); his nieces, Stefanie Elick and Tiffany Elick; and his nephew Justin Elick.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations for a memorial bench to honor John at Deerfield Beach. Donation inquiries can be directed to Jackie Knudsen.
