It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Gettinger of Boca Raton, Florida, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Yvette Gettinger and Frank Gettinger; his daughters, Jennifer Thompson (Kevin) and Melissa Weiner (Richard); his significant other Brenda Kulick; his grandchildren, Emily Weiner, Anna Weiner, Sophie Thompson and Jake Weiner; and his wife Barbara Gettinger.
